IM 0
Anyone has info. on long range weather forecast for NZ and South America? Web site, etc... NZ has been dry for sometime, and no idea on Chile.
mogski 0
Don't have a long range forecast for NZ, but don't worry about the dryness. It's like this every year. I think though that it will be a bumper season this year! My degree is guestamation tells me that when there is a shit snow year in the US it's generally pretty good in NZ. Even if it aint its one of the only places with snow at the time of year so GO!
jared 0
I wouldnt want to base any real life decisions on a long range weather guess. I think they are designed primaraly to stimulate light hearted conversation about the season to come.
xxx 2
Me too. Chile? Wasn't that the place our long-lost friend camel was going on about last season

scouser 4
Are you lot serious about Chile?

frannyo 2
The URL didn't work for me either. But I'm interested in hearing more about all this.
Ocean11 0
As somebody who can order two beers in Spanish, I'm offering to join any group traveling to Chile, all expenses paid, as a beer procurement specialist (in units of 2). Serious offers only please.
jon snapper 0
I already got the STA brochure. Their deals are seiously expensive. You`d be better off going over there and getting some lodging in staff dormitories. It`s the only cheap way, or so I hear.
Karnidge 2
I can order vodka and whisky too (as well as some basic foods), so I think I am better qualified than you, O11!
Ocean11 0
Tapas por favor! I have also dabbled in various martial arts and have a crew cut, so I can provide basic on-hill and party security (ie, dog innocent people up like a thug).

camel 0
With such great news I can´t be away anymore. You´re finally planning a trip to South America! It took a while but it looks like it´s really happening! I´ll be spending my winter in both Argentina and Chile. If anybody hits the Andes this winter (summer) just let me know. Maybe we can make a few turns together. I saw you already mentioned one of the three major companies running guided tours down here. I added more useful links: Guided tours: www.staadventures.com www.powderquest.com www.casatours.com Budget trips: www.stabudgetadventures.com.ar General information: www.laslenas.com www.southamericaskiguide.com www.andesweb.com I hope this helps and I´ll be waiting to see you all down here. Where´s Barok? db, frannyo, Ocean are you gonna make it this year? Camel ---------------------- Think Andean Powder!!!
zwelgen 0
Wow that looks great. Was checking out the stabudgetadventures wow. Im salivating. Its just a shame that Sth America is the opposite side of the globe eh! btw I noticed that there were only pics of skiers on that website. Whats the deal? Snowboarding not taken off in Sth America or that the person that made it is a skier or what? Hmm. I have to say its rare to get a webpage like that these days.
