I don't know about that roof but some building roofs do have a heating mechanism and/or sprinklers helping move the snow.

 

Others just need hard graft to get it moved!

If you have a look around any snow resort there are mostly never any gutters. Why? They would get ripped off by the weight of all that snow sliding off the roof.
