gareth_oau 2
any suggestions why the snow doesnt stay on the station roof? its almost like its heated, or at least the ceilings inside arent insulated
SKI 15
I don't know about that roof but some building roofs do have a heating mechanism and/or sprinklers helping move the snow. Others just need hard graft to get it moved!
muikabochi 208
My roof has a wate sprinkling mechanism that kicks into action when the snow starts. Fairly steep roof as well.

If you have a look around any snow resort there are mostly never any gutters. Why? They would get ripped off by the weight of all that snow sliding off the roof.
