SKI 15
GN or other Niseko dudes, hows the snow line doing there? If it's cold down here, I can imagine it still being chilly up there.
Go Native 70
It's chilly but the snow is melting pretty rapidly now. There's still snow drifts down to about 600m with a mostly complete cover above about 700m. West facing aspects are mostly free of snow though. Even though it's much higher Youtei actually loses most of it's cover quicker than Annupuri. The very exposed upper slopes and ridges never collect all that much snow and are all bare now with only the gullies holding the snow. The gentler and more protected east facing slopes of Annupuri still have a reasonable cover. May head out for a backcountry ski on Sunday. Will post pics if I do. May go camping down at Toya instead though as the weekend weather is looking ok.
Nisoko 6
As GN said. Still very chilly though at times.
