iiyamadude 6
Well not properly but it's on now facing outside to get rid of the first smelly oil bit. Might be needing it soon. Anyone needing the heater already?
RobBright 35
Nope - still though have started to wear tracksuit trousers round the house now.

Tubby Beaver 209
yeah me too rob, the past few days with the typhoon approaching has been cold in the house, but tonight its back to normal again. I reckon it'll be a few weeks yet before I need to trudge up to the petrol station for some kero for the heater
snowdude 44
Yeah my samugari wife has used the heater a few times now at night and first thing in the morning, getting a bit chilly some nights. Usually around November before I start to need the heater, just here in jeans and T-shirt tonight! But won't be long before it's time to go and get parafin on a regular basis! Oh yeah roll on winter! brit-gob 9
I have yet to enjoy that lovely first-time for the heater. Such lovely smells.
Go Native 70
We have central hydronic heating in our house so never any bad smells or fumes and the air does not get dried out. Expensive but very nice.
muikabochi 208
Tested the heater last night, though dont need it yet.

thursday 1
I have glass walls everywhere. Don't like winter here. Too damn cold. Don't like summer here, too damn hot. Don't like spring here, too damn humid/wet. Autumn is very very nice.
Tubby Beaver 209
Hydronic systems pump hot water through pipes in the floor that transfer heat to the floor surface and thus heat the house.
Jynxx 4
Very impressed with the way Germans build their house. Every house has a cellar. We have a Sauna. The floors are Hydonic. fire place, central heating, we got it all. I don't mind the cold, just have to wear some warm cloths. Some people are ridiculous they want to wear T-shirts and heat up the room. I like it when I come in from the cold and get in front of a heater for a tick.

ShinyDiscoBall 2
Funny how some people prefer to be warm with not many clothes on (me) and then some like the house to be COLD COLD COLD and put on layers - my sisters like that.
