rach 1
TB The most reliable reports are that Fergie has the full backing of the Glazers and they are as hard-headed as he is. If we do sell, we surely won't get stuffed like we did when we sold Beckham for 22p. We should just slap 100m price tag on him and say come and get. Problem with that is that Madrid simply can't affort the numbers they have been throwing around. Also, Ferguson has not threatened to quit the club. That is just media idiocy. With the latest comments though it will be very very interesting to see what happens. Fergie has been very quiet about it all up until now. United supporters seem pretty much wanting rid now, me included. The stands would be fun but not realistic.
bobby12 0
Unfortunately he is injured for the first 3 months which will buy him a lot of time to get everything resolved without being forced to sit in the stands. I would watch every man utd game every week just to see him sat up there in the stands being taught a life lesson. It would also be a great farewell move from Sir Alex the master b'stard. rach 1
The other benefit from that bobby12, would be you'd get to see some great football every week. (I think you'll find that he will be out the first few weeks/month of the season, not the first 3 months of the season).
soubriquet 0
Curious isn`t it. Ronaldo unites the two tribes: ManU fans and the Rest of the Universe. Never thought I`d see that in my lifetime.
scouser 4
But you know that a day out at Old Trafford these days is more like a family picnic rather than a grey day of fighting?
scouser 4
I see the stories of Ronaldinho to Citeh are getting louder again. This simply cannot happen, in the name of Football.
grungy-gonads 54
What happened to the AC Milans and all? It really is quite difficult to imagine him wanting to go to Manchester City. Maybe he mistakenly thinks is United and he is looking forward to playing with the lovely players over there.

BagOfCrisps 24
He's been out with an injury since around February I think but still officially playing. He'll need to be working out a lot to get rid of that lot before season starts!

pie-eater 207
Both talented fools. Now to fun news at the quality end of the Premiership Quote: Wigan and Sunderland are leading the chase to persuade Everton manager David Moyes to sell striker Andrew Johnson. Moyes has insisted Johnson, 27, is not for sale - but Everton may now decide to cash in to boost their transfer fund if they receive offers of about £10m. BBC Sport understands Wigan boss Steve Bruce is currently in pole position and is ready to offer Johnson a lucrative package to tempt him to the JJB.

BagOfCrisps 24
Players can be forgiven for putting on a bit of weight over the off season - a bit - as long as they get back to fitness before the season starts. That lot would take months to shift.

2pints-mate 0
Next 72 hours Quote: Ronaldinho will make a decision about his future in the next 72 hours after a meeting at Camp Nou yesterday. The Brazilian international and his brother and agent Robert de Assis attended the talks as Milan and Manchester City compete for the player's services. "Things are going well. They could not have gone better," De Assis said. The selling club stressed, however, that a transfer of their former world footballer of the year is not a mere formality. "The two parties have agreed to give themselves two or three days to close the transfer of the player to one of the clubs interested," Barcelona said. "If no agreement is reached over this period, the player will join up with the rest of the squad for training." Manchester City's executive chairman, Garry Cook, said last night his club had made significant advances in their attempt to sign Ronaldinho from Barcelona. City, Cook revealed, had made their first official bid in the region of £22m, and were waiting to discover whether Milan, their only serious competitors, had the financial muscle to match them. City's owner, Thaksin Shinawatra, and his associates are aware that Adriano Galliani, Milan's chief transfer negotiator, was in Barcelona last night, and that Ronaldinho is tempted by Italy. Cook, however, believes Thaksin's immense wealth, City's upwards trajectory and their willingness to make Ronaldinho the best-paid player in England all count in their favour. (No kidding!) Manchester City being totally shite doesn't seem to put him off, as to balance that out there's lots of pies nearby and the level of expectation at Citeh will be less than that in a decent club like Milan

2pints-mate 0
That'll be it. Get paid tons. Get to still enjoy the pies and fine Manchester lasses. Blame the shite team-mates when you are rubbish.
