The winners were chosen by the friendly people at the Tourism Association in Yuzawa from valid photos uploaded to SnowJapan last season. Just to be clear, the names of the photo files and SJ members were coded on the photos submitted to Yuzawa - making them totally anonymous. There was no favouritism and no bias - just the photos for Yuzawa to choose the winners. There weren't many non-Kagura photos up there I suppose it was a struggle to get good photos last season at anywhere other than Kagura because the snow was so crap! Thanks! As joshnii said, snow was crap last season. I bet there'll be tons more good ones this season..... go on, do it again, go on, go on....
