Niigata's getting too hot for koshihikari, so that mightn't be a bad idea. wink

Anyway, nice and warm here this morning, warmer than it was during the day yesterday. It would be nice dig the garden weather if we hadn't had all that rain.

Lots of cloudy looking humid weather early on this morning

High of 26 forecast for today, after a cool overnight. I like that.

It all melted?!?     Clear here too.

I thought the old rice liked a hot summer, as long as it got the rain as well.

Though I admit to knowing little of these things.

Niigata definitely getting too hot for muikabochi, that is for sure!

Didn't hear much about the donuts this year.
Still going strong?

Only went once myself actually.

I think lots of those shops usually close end of March anyway actually.

Beautiful sunny day today. Going to get out into the garden soon but moving pretty slowly this morning. I'm actually in a bit of pain after doing a 16km race from Mishima to Hakone (over the mountains!) Here is the route for anyone interested... Its called the Kyukaido, part of the old Tokaido route.

Rainy and unseasonably cold this morning in Sapporo, but it's flurrying at Kokusai and Kiroro as I write this! It snowed yesterday too, but only enough to cover the ugly, dirty snow from about midway on up - didn't actually make it nice to ride on.
