soubriquet 0
Well, that's it for today. An hour being paid for free conversation with a stunning pair of milfs. Time for a biru.
soubriquet 0
I've just been out for an hour watching elderly ladies in kimonos practicing their dance for tomorrow's obon festival. For all intensive porpoises, Japan could be any western country, but the combination of kimonos and the shinkansen pulling in is a wonderful contrast. I love it here. For a Scandiwegian pom, I'm very Asian.
BagOfCrisps 24
Quote: Just saw a shooting star. Bet you don't see many of them in Rondon, 2pints. Actually last night (the night before?) we could see lots (if we were up at 1am and looking outside). Apparently it was very pretty.
soubriquet 0
Ah well, it's sunny and clear and going to be hot today. We'll be selling crushed ice and chocolate coated bananas at the festival. There will be lots of ladies dancing, and everyone will have a good time.
BagOfCrisps 24
Have a good time! It's that "Obon" holiday few days now isn't it?
mina2 6
Yes, it's Obon. Lots of people back at their hometowns for a day or two before the U-turn rush begins.
soubriquet 0
Yes, obon this week, and more specifically today and tomorrow. Today it's dancing and tomorrow we have the fireworks (hanabi).
soubriquet 0
Morning. Sunny and clear again, though temps are forecast to drop. Changed my Tee-shirts six times yesterday. Roll-on September.

soubriquet 0
It's been 36 with max humidity for the past week. Clouding over nicely now with a northerly wind. Hopefully we've passed the summer peak.
soubriquet 0
Cheating somewhat. It's last night rather that today; but pissing with rain. The matsuri has been very lucky with its timing. 1:15. Good morning.

gerard 6
Morning. The heat only really arrived down here in the last two days. I'm stuck at work today.... I might be able to escape and go for a swim but it would have to be soon because the water heats right up by lunchtime...
soubriquet 0
It's been a bstard up here for the past week, but Yamagata has now passed on the crown for Japan's highest recorded temperature. It was good having hot nights for obon, but now we're on the downslope to autumn. Goody.
gerard 6
You must have a good river to jump in around you....
soubriquet 0
There's the Mogami, which is one of Japan's major navigable rivers. Historically it was the source of Oishida's wealth. It's a bit green though. There's a big tributary close by, which is crystal clear. That's where I go to stand with a cold beer on a hot night.
