The good lady is at a trade fair today at Yonezawa, 80km south of here. We drove up in the afternoon and set up, then stayed at an Onsen at Nan Yo. It was really cool. The onsen is built in a swamp in the middle of a rice field. The boss man said they had to drill through 6 metres of peat and put in 68 piles before thay could cast the floor. Nice room and nice indoor and out door baths. Last night I was sitting in the outdoor bath listening to the frogs, watching the stars, and drinking beer.
