BagOfCrisps 24
Well.. I'm not complaining. Good game for us, and the only English side still in the competition. Crouch is good entertainment. Good to laugh at.
bobby12 0
Well good for you. and indeed. LFC vs AFC on sunday, we need a win really to pick up this #2 spot.
2pints-mate 0
The crumbs It seems United are destroying an embarrasing Newcastle at the mo. Looking forward to the game later on this afternoon, should be a good one.
bobby12 0
well we were beaten again. at least this time we deserved to lose, which actually feels better.
scouser 4
Glad you feel good about it. I want the club to buy some strikers. Having some strikers would be good
ShinyDiscoBall 2
You were crap hey? I don't understand the team selection for Liverpool lots of the time, esp for that CL game the other day. It was so lame. Anyway I won't spend time worrying much about that
NoFakie 45
ManYoo - Newcastle was seriously one-way traffic. I expect the same against Liverpool this week. At least it's on at a reasonable hour for watching in Japan.
soubriquet 0
AS Roma (0) 2 Middlesbrough (1) 1 Agg: 2-2, Middlesbrough win on away goals "McClaren added: "You don't have nights like this very often so it is one of the best achievements of my career. Beating the favourites is very satisfying.""
scouser 4
You a Middlesbrough supported soubriquet? Not footie related but at uni I had a girlfriend from Middlesborough - difficult to understand her accent a lot of the time. I looked past that though Hope it will be the same this weekend Mr Wiggles. Perhaps if we put some strikers in the team!
soubriquet 0
Mighty Norwich. I lived in the NE for a year and it's my favourite part of England, so I like to see their teams doing well. My Geordie girlfriend navigating in the car "... it's right, right, followed by a left, right, then it's straight, right". She was a honey.
scouser 4
Yes yes yes.
rach 1
10:30pm kickoff is a good time - not keen on these midnight starts! We do well though, they're putting about 5 games a week on at the moment... better than what they get back in the uk - mustn't complain!
bobby12 0
yep you get all the saturday games which sky arent allowed to show, and also the premplus ones which we have to pay £8 each for. I've started doing premiership coupon accumulator bets each weekend now in an attempt to get some money. Correctly predict all 10 premiership results (just the wins/draws, not the actual scores) and you get about 7000 for a 1 bet. However, statistically the chances of winning are (by my calculations, 3 to the power of 10 right?) 60,000/1, so you can see how bookies make their money I gave up on the lottery after using this lottery simulator
scouser 4
We do get it good - more often than now 5 live games a week is pretty good. I wish I'd have watched the Fulham Chelsea game, sounds like it was a tense game.
ShinyDiscoBall 2
Sure was. It's often the teams you don't think will who pull something off like this. Jose at it once more I see: "Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho accuses the referee of caving in to pressure from Fulham players at Craven Cottage."
BagOfCrisps 24
He's just a prime plonker and seems to be intent on becoming the most hated. It is good to see them get beaten though for once. If they lose another in the next few weeks and then they play United it could even become exciting yet.
bobby12 0
It would be cracking if they won nothing this year.
NoFakie 45
Well first they've got to beat the might of Newcastle in the cup. After this week, I think we have a sure fire winner for defensive blunder of the season. Unfortunately it stops before the bear hug, but you get the general idea.
scouser 4
He did a good job avoiding that ball Nice result last night as well 7-0. Someone swithced the goal scoring switch to ON?
rach 1
"Liverpool have now scored FIFTEEN goals in a week." Not bad that. What has happened?
bobby12 0
dont know but they need to learn to spread it out a bit better! Everton are next in the firing line.
big-will 7
15 in 3, impressive. Before that, how many games did it take to get 15?
bobby12 0
about 25. Chelsea scraped through last night, they going through a 'blip' at the moment. Also, again we get the petulence from Mourinho: 'Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho refused to speak to the media after the game.' (bbc news online)
scouser 4
Rethink.... Lets hope that blip results in a few more draws and lost games. Bring on Everton!
bobby12 0
did u see that some forum poster on the BBC website predicted the 7-0 and the scorers and times and so on? mental.
