  1. We've nearly got it all planned just got a few things to confirm before we can ink in. I feel lucky that zdlfskdladealijfsxdfk isn't into all the pomp and ceremony.
  2. I could seriously do with one of them right now. Need to... go... get..... lunch.....now
  3. haha yes I have seen a few interesting scenes like that.... high heals, expensive sandals. ...
  4. It was a rubbish movie really but I watched The Distinguished Gentleman last night. Eddie Murhpy being himself, er, a senator. Silly but mildly amusing in parts. I was easily pleased obviously.
  5. I often find myself liking the 'hits' the least on a good album. Do listen to albums still though rather than random.
  6. Haha yes I was thinking that too. I think they do random then just ignore the reasonable looking numbers that popout.
  7. Full nine yards is not the way we're going. Luckily my future wife isn't interested in that big waste of money either. Didn't know that Mr wiggles, interesting.
  8. We are in the middle of trying to get our wedding plans going now. With families on opposite sides of the world, it makes things fairly complex even for the relatively low-key affair we are going for. I am interested in how other Japanese/foreign couples did it - one main wedding in one country with two parties/receptions (on in each country). I think we will be getting married overseas but there's lots of Japanese family that won't be able to make that trek and we need to get something going here too.
  9. No prep for the season. I'll just be rushing out there when I can. Now, prep for the wedding is different. Even a small scale thing is taking a lot of effort getting organised. Familes on opposite sides of the world does complicate things!
  10. Or sausages! BTW, why do many hotels not have double beds? I want a king sized double bed!
  11. If a hotel doesn't have English info, site, signs etc, people should not expect them to cater directly to the people that need those things. I wouldn't anyway. I know some people who own places and they just get nervous at potential problems. Silly, and rather naive, yes, but the reality. As long as they treat people with respect/friendly... it's when they are downright rude that is not acceptable.
  12. Mate sent me this last night. (Cheeky git if you ask me, but...) Seems the wrong way round somehow doesn't it? Quote: The mystery of why some people stay slim while others get fat may be partly explained by differences between the way individuals' brains measure the pleasure of eating. Overweight people may actually find fatty or sugary food less satisfying than thin people, which leads them to overeating as a way of compensating for the relative lack of enjoyment. A study of the brains of young women and adolescent girls found significant differences in the way thin
  13. A lot are against. But then again, they have their supporters. It will be interesting to see how the last few weeks pans out and if they can catch up either by some event / being impressive / just being white.
  14. Glass?! I have never seen a smashed up HDD. Does sound like fun. I have an old computer I never use, perhaps thats something for the weekend!
  15. Fairs fair though Go Native, it is Off Topic Can you go over there to spend time with them that way? Not ideal when you want them to come here of course, but....
  16. I like private onsens rotenburo in posh hotel rooms looking out onto the mountains. With ms zdlfskdladealijfsxdfk sharing the tub of course.
