  3. Humiliation? Last time the pomms came over, they lost the series 5-Nil! Now that'a humiliation

It the second most popular sport after football.

  9. Shiny shiny tarazo tiled floors, Products blinged up to the max behind glass by a thousand halogen lights. Escalators to lift the fatties up to the food court to fill up on donuts. Air temp precisely 22.6 deg. Shop assistants with fake smiles too big for their mouths. Spending 20 mins. in the car waiting behind some lard arse who needs to park 10 meters from the escalator. Yeah I can see the appeal.
  10. Like MB, Nine. The kids, wife and family are all healthy and happy. I've really enjoyed watching the kids thrive this year at school and with sport. My boy and I hung out together a lot this year surfing, snowboarding, footy and stuff. I snuck in a boys surf trip to Indonesia for 2 weeks which was awesome. Thanks to a busy prosperous year retirement plans are almost back on track. Looking forward to 2011, especially June when we do a month family trip to Indo.
  11. 4 beers...feeling good today, ha ha ha

  13. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than go to the mall here at the moment. It's absolutely heaving with grumpy, rude, city tourists.
  14. You just don't see enough mullets these days.
  15. My life is usually a hundred mph. I'm enjoying slothing around and eating fine food for a week. Mind you, a lot of that slothing around is done on the beach, don't think I'd like to be snowed in a three hundred miles from the nearest chair lift.
  16. We had a whole turkey on the BBQ and it was sensational. Still eating it today. I can't believe how much meat came off one bird.
  17. Stiens! Beerhalls and stiens..yes, yes, Germany is a wonderful place.
  18. I'm trying to think of something I liked about Germany...... I'll get back to you....

So are other states still offering a high feed in tariff?
  20. My 1.5 kW solar grid feed system is up and running now. I'm selling power back to the grid for 66c a kW/hour. The power I buy would average about 20c kW/hour. The 66c deal has dried up now (and a large chunk of the solar industry with it). I wish I had a gone for a larger system. My brother has a 10kW system. He will generate about $10 000 worth of power a year for the next 6 years. It been a while since I've seen an LED light but the last one that I saw didn't throw much light out, even though they are very bright to look at.

It always amuses me what people's definition of an 'Australian' is. I wouldn't say it's an outwardly malice racial
