  2. 3-piece >who in their right mind would ever choose to play bass?? I don't know but someone's got to do it.
  3. Yep, like the goal keeper. Gotta respect your drummer. Why do you hate everyone, Chris?
  4. Make that 4 - 0. Nice tip. Not much Shneider could have done.
  5. 3 - zip for Boston afer just 10 minutes. Luongo pulled....

  7. Anyone read Sebastian Horsley's book? Sounds interesting. Next on my list.

  12. Shantaram from recommendations here. Almost finished. Very fun read!
  13. I wore a helmet recently and kept bumping my head on stuff because of the slightly extra height compared to having just a toque.

Happo/47 should be OK but beta further out, I would think.
  15. Atch, by tomorrow the crust will be burried. If not you can cash in on that beer. I'd be out for sure.
  16. Ahem, it's snowing. If Cortina doesn't pick up at LEAST 30 cm from this one I'll buy the whole lot of you a beer. Even Happo and 47 might do OK, I reckon. http://weather.yahoo.co.jp/weather/rainsnow/kinki.html
  17. I wish I could make it out this weekend. Might be well-worth it to head a little further into Otari.

Hey Dave, Don't know if they're "stricter" but the handfull of Hakuba resorts are built on a very big, long range of mountains and once you cross the line you're really out of bounds - not like Niseko, with it's relatively controlled sidecountry stuff. So you have to know what you're d
  19. Hi Mummyskier. Mine are 1 and 3 too (just turned 3 yesterday in fact) so I'm in the same boat as you. I'll be taking the older boy to a resort in Nagano for some sledding soon. As for actually skiing, I imagine the equipment/boots would be more hasstle than it's worth and we want to keep it fun and light for now. But surely other ppl have more experience than me with this (living on Shikoku, as I do)
  20. Very well done Pete! I saw your posts a week or two ago when you were stuck in transit. Great to see you made it out. And yeah, landing on those cat tracks in flat light can kill... lol
  21. I used to hate kids. Now I like them. Complete 180 since becoming a Dad.
  22. I spend the same amnt of $ on bicuits as I used to so it's about the same for the... er.... manufacturer but now I have twice as many biscuits. Win win.
