    I'd say around 15, mostly up here in Tohoku.

    Nearly 6 months. How time flies. We felt it here of course quite strongly but no real damage and I don't live by the coast and so just looked on in horror at what was happening.

    Well I will be around so hopefully finding a few new places in Iwate, Akita and Aomori as well as the usual places. I might even take a trip a bit further south

    Appi was my first resort in Japan and I really like it still. No, not keen on the lower parts but the beginners can all stay there can't they? It's a decent place and has it's audience.

    I think it is irresponsible for people living in snow area to not have the tyres. It is dangerous for other people as well as yourself.

    If I finish up in the 16-20 area I will be very pleased with myself.

    Appi Kogen has put prices up by 100 yen (on a 5hr, 8hr or nighta ticket) to 200 yen a day (on a 2 day ticket).
