  1. Haha yes photos are good. Luckily he said they don't have much space so just write the romaji. Phew!
  2. Someone has asked me to translate some names of Japanese food into English. I'm not a translator and I'm not keen on doing this kind of thing but said I would give it a go. Many of the items are meals and food. I'm wondering if it is best to just give those romaji names (ie/ soba) or whether to actually translate the meaning, describe what it is (ie/ buckwheat noodles or whatever it is). What you reckon? Perhaps have both in there though that is increasing my work!
  3. On the back of a truck this afternoon in big letters "Power Turd Brake System" Anyone idea what they might have wanted to say there?!

  10. The Sixth Day. Arnie being as bad as he can be. Well creepy Sim Pal toys. Lots more. Oh yes, it's bad.
  11. I know it's only a forecast but anyone heard any long term for the next 3 months? I feel it hasn't been as hot this last few weeks compared to usual, so hoping for perhaps a summer not as scary hot as usual...
  12. Fine photos this season muikabochi. Thanks for sharing so many. Would a blue filter do good in that situation too?
  13. I knew Eamonn Murphy. Very sad. Quote: Three men killed in an avalanche on one of Scotland's most dangerous mountains were named last night as warnings were given to climbers that the risk of further slides will remain high over the next few days. Eamonn Murphy, 61, from Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, and his brother John Murphy, 63, from Portrush, Co Antrim, died along with Brian Murray, 46, from Monifieth, Tayside, when they were engulfed by thousands of tonnes of snow on Buachaille Etive Mor, near Glencoe. Eamonn Murphy was a well-known artist and former teacher who had
