  1. echineko - is your boss a man or a woman? a man wearing a wig must be ridiculous. never. a woman on teh other hand...well, I suppose if it is a good wig, maybe it's ok...
  2. about 250 grams of steak, a buncha grilled veggies, and a tall glass of sake. just enough really...again...probably not worth the 15k
  3. I think the dancing dude in the office rules!
  4. Isn't Apple expected to be releasing some new operating system or something soon too?
  5. Well, the quest was successful, but outrageously expensive. We asked the hotel where to go...I couldn't tell you the name of the place, but it was pretty cool. Near Sannomiya stn. in Kobe. The hotel lady suggested ordering the most expensive option to ensure getting "real kobe beef." That ran about 15,000 yen each. The first floor was a butcher shop. The butcher walked us through the back into the alley-elevator and up to the 4th floor. The steak was very tender indeed and of course a bit fatty. It basically melted in your mouth. I would love to eat it again, but wouldn't pay for
  6. Here's a link to the patent if anyone would like to give her a read... http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parse...7&RS=PN/6729337
  7. Congratulaions to you and your family!
  8. I don't know if Nagoya is a smaller place or not... I arrived in the work-related fashion....I was invited to temporarily "work" with a client that my ex-employer represents in the US.
  9. HA! We haven't either, I guess that is why we are willing to splurge a bit.
  10. I wouldn't want to spend more than 10,000-12,500 per person I guess.
  11. Thinking about taking a day or two to visit Kobe. Does anybody have any recommendations for steak restaurants and/or anything else to do in Kobe?
  12. >I note that the wise and honest CONGRESS has just OK'd a suicidal energy bill. Wrong again. The HOUSE OK'd the energy bill. The Senate still has to vote. If history has anything to say about it...it will probably get struck down like the three before it. Word selection is very important.
  13. Sure thing...check it out at bikramyoga.com I know Bikram's brother runs the two studios in Tokyo and actually teaches in English. We only do it at home b.c the Nagoya version, which calls itself Hot-zone-zero, is a little different and honestly leaves me feeling a little uneasy afterwards. I am not sure what you mean by dynamic/active poses as Bikram is the only form I am really familiar with. The postures are pretty reasonable and seem to really balance everything out. I dig it. And oh yeah...you sweat like a hog. Good stuff...you said it.
  14. We live on my income and store hers for a rainy day.
  15. that is interesting...I wonder how they are getting caught? my girlfriend and I often use ceramic heaters to raise the temperature in our bedroom to practice bikram yoga. the other day i was thinking, i wonder if the J gov't uses heat sensors to find growers and, if so, wouldn't they think we are growing something in here? HA!
  16. I would be interested in hearing the new Panic shows...don't know that I would have much to barter with as my music is pretty bare over here.
  17. I am jealous...I have two friends that departed Hattiesburg, MS for all three shows and haven't heard from either of them since...
  18. That is a pretty funny picture on your member page!! He's a scary looking man. OK...I just question whether lifting the ban would be enough. The African community currently has no hope in asking the Vatican for financial help now. I think that they would if the Vatican lifted the ban. That is all. Isn't availability of contraceptives in Africa an issue also?
