A few weeks back at Naeba I saw a mother beating the poo out of her daughter who looked to be about 7 because the poor kid couldn't stand up. The girl was sprawled out, lying on her back with her legs still in snow plough, slowly sliding down the slope while the mother was whacking her with her ski poles and shouting at her to stand up. She's probably going to be so traumatised that she'll never learn now. I really wanted to say something but the mother looked kind of scary and I don't think it would have helped. Hate seeing things like that and not being able to do anything.

Yep, the official way to classify a city in the UK used to be whether or not it had a catherdral. Swansea doesn't have a cathedral though and its a city.

Saturday at 47 was a bad plan. Lunch took about 2 hours. Ages in lift lines getting to top and got in my first lift line fight with a J-girl who tried to cut in front of me Went to Happo on Friday & Sunday. Never been there B4 - lots of long runs and not too crowded, had a fantastic time. Lots of good beer at night too. Hokkaido this Saturday!!

Here's how I make it: few bottles of red wine 1/4 to half bottle of vodka 2 oranges (sliced into rings) few cinnamon sticks few allspice balls few cloves bit of nutmeg sugar Throw it all in a pan and warm it on the lowest possible heat. DON'T let it boil or even simmer!! You need to leave it for at least 1/2 hour. There should be steam coming off it but no bubbles. Keep it on the burner and just keep topping up the pot with wine (and the other ingredients to taste)as it gets drunk throughout the night.

Something wierd has happened to all the posting times. It's almost 3pm now but according to the "posted at" time it's the middle of the night. Anyone else notice this or are my settings messed up?
