  1. working again now if not try this one http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia/interscope/eminem/encore/video/mosh-rev/000_mosh-rev.asx
  2. That`s all a little over the top Ocean. Especially as most of us haven`t been on here as long as you and articles like this may be our first introduction to this subject. Your points are fair enough, but you just seem plain nasty in the way you put them across - enough to put anyone off sharing their own articles or thoughts. A lot of people have a lot of useful backcountry experience but maybe not that much writing experience. I`d rather hear a poorly expressed opinion than no opinion at all. At least then we can discuss or at the worst ignore it.
  3. Excellent - managed 5. Those quotes are great, hadn`t heard many of them before.
  4. Pleased to see snow has arrived. Nice to see mountains covered in snow. Looking forward to more of these topics as winter sets in (no i haven`t helped the people homeless in the mountains of this country or any other, so i guess i`m completely vulnerable to people`s moral high ground. Then again the only high ground i`m interested in on this website is that which i can board from. No offence meant to anyone)
  5. That`s tragic, definitely a bit of a legend. "Died aged 65, during a working holiday in Peru" - deserves respect in itself.
  6. That`s beautiful! He does sound a little over-the-top in the news coverage. And what`s all this about soup throwing??? - immense! football and soap operas all rolled into one. It`s clearly all from the fear generated by having Chelsea snapping at their heels
  7. I`m the leading heroin smuggler for Okayama. It was pretty difficult getting setup, what with all the hits and bribes that had to happen, but some highly placed contacts smoothed it all along. (It helps if you`re already involved in the pimping business). Found using my teaching helpful to getting a young market and obviously with all my gaijin ALT friends this soon spreads. Coke and Marajuana next - Go big and fill in the gaps later. Sweet, and of course any one else interested in setti... *sound of sirens and handcuffs*
  8. I usually eat Calbee`s フレーシ ク”ラノーラ (muesli sort of thing) Didn`t like it at first but love it now. Only cereal available around me that i like. It comes in tiny boxes though, literally only 2/3 servings.

You can just make out a grey haze that starts to follow the car and some sound distortion that sounds a little like a voice - probably bollox, but at least a little less offensive than the Britney game! http://www.dvo.com/newsletter/monthly/2004/august/ghostcarad.mpg

Sure - I`m just stirring Although i`ve heard flows can be a bit of a hassle to get into if you`re not on relatively flat and hard snow and straps really aren`t that much hassle. Never tried flows so can`t really comment. Like the look of Tech9 and Burton`s new toe straps though

  13. It`s pretty mental - what are the japanese media saying about it all? (don`t understand very much japanese)
  14. Is there any way to watch it or listen to it live over the internet? It`s going to be a blinder! Come on ManU!
  15. Taiwan`s in for a pretty bad time too by the looks of it
  16. I quite like it. Especially as in my local shop it`s as cheap or cheaper than the (mostly awful) japanese beers.
  17. Found this on the guardian website - makes a good read as to what has changed and to the amount of things i`m now completely clueless about since coming here... "What the world was like when Arsenal last lost in the league On May 9 2003, when Leeds beat Arsenal 3-2 atHighbury to hand Manchester United the title: There was still "plenty of evidence" of WMDs in Iraq. Current world No1 Steve Harmison was ranked only the 49th best bowler in the world. Britney Spears hadn't even been married once. If you walked into a pub and trilled "I'm the only gay in village" in a
  18. Hopefully somewhere before my Christmas holiday in Hakuba. Maybe Daisen or Mizuho, or a skibus up to Gifu or Fukui if i get the chance.
  19. boards or skis? Their boards used to have the reputation of being heavy and not so good. Don`t know how true that is anymore.
  20. Madrid`s great worked there for three months before coming out here. Some good money to be made in in-house business English. Heard great things about poland also. Just head out to a few places for a holiday and check out what job possibilities are there. At the worst you`ll have a blinding trip!
  21. Shanghai - The Bund, and just generally some amazing architecture
  22. I think you`re looking at it the wrong way round. In Japan smoking seems to be completely acceptable and even expected. Until that starts to change no-smoking in bars and restaurants will just put the bars that choose to do it out of business. As soon as it makes economical sense to do so i`m sure no-smoking pubs and restaurants will spread like wildfire. Where i lived in England it used to be the case that the smoking areas were ridiculous and the only difference between them and the no-smoking areas were the amount of burns on the carpet. Now in many places it works - though i guess in
