the treadmills at my local Konami Sports have a screen with a running man game on screen. HEs jogging up a track and you control him/her via touch pads on the arm rails to make him go left or right. Quite fun, and yeah better than looking at a blank wall. But then again most of the machines face the windows and look down from the 5th floor.

I think the surfing game is pretty cool...riding on a mini surfboard, pulling outrageous tricks and trying to look cool doing it at the same time (of course).

Good for you...I was told when I went to pic up my tickets to Thailand that I needed to pay an extra 400 yen. I laughed...ohh how I laughed at them..it was a mighty laugh indeed. Then I looked at the staff. They didnt even blink or change expression, just stared and repeated their request. Silently I paid the extra charge. (story edited for humourous effect)

Echi, NZ towns and cities arent much different from any other country in the world...just a lot more New Zealanders Oh and I guess they arent as big either. Oha and Whale Rider was filmed about 20 minutes up the road from my familys house. Used to go swimming at that beach all the time when I was a youngin!
