you could try snodeck its about 15mins walk from where you will be back up the valley away from the slopes -near the asagi ski park -find the lift there and its hard to miss- good pizza- actually I'd check with them that its going to be open before you leave if you are considering it - just do web search for snodeck naeba

gday daisuki I was up there yesteray and had a lot of fun - the romance lift is a short run but conditions were good -about 5cm and still afair bit of untracked - have fun mate

with the kiwi dollar where its at treble cone NZ is the most expensive adult day pass on the planet- as t taka says there are some very unhappy campers - mind you a lot of the tradesman working in queenstown / wanaka would make close to that in an hour for perk jobs- its all relative

Did you see the amazing race Asia Mama - one of the clues was in Shiba park - also that hotel is well known for being very popular with antipodeans - never seen the rooms - but surprised that you had to negotiate an upgrade !
