I don't know rach. Doesn't seem to have created much interest! No Wigan game this week. AGAIN. I'll have to make do with the Arsenal vs Newcastle. Lets hope Newcastle give a good fight. -

New notebook - best to wait for Vista?
pie-eater replied to LiquidX's topic in General off-topic discussions
Surely if you get a higher-end machine now in one of those programmes it will be just fine with Vista. -

There were some cracking games to watch over the weekend. Spurs vs Chelsea was, as they say, pulsating. If only we could have a bunch of games like that every week. -

Another international break this weekend. England game on anywhere folks? -
Good to see they are putting it on here. It's the Dalek one next Tuesday. All a bit crappy, though those farting aliens last night had some charm. Then again I suppose Dr Who is suppose to be a bit crappy. I'd love to see some of the older ones that I vaguely remember from when I was a kid.

Wigan got the point from Everton last night. Looking forward to the games tonight. Should be good. -
I really want to see a movie called "Right At Your Door". It's super low budget, about a terrorist attack, some guy seals his house with duct tape and then his infected wife (?) appears and he leaves her outside. Sounds charming, right? Still supposed to be very effectively done.

Have you read about Sven being "fed up" with being called incompetent and withdrawing from some speech or something. Ah, poor boy. Well not poor at all actually, quite rich. At least he gets a bit of "fed up" feeling. -

I had an amazing selection of pies this summer. Pie shops, butchers, yes even supermarkets. One of my personal favourites is from the local butchers though. So good. -
Steve 'crocodile hunter' Irwin dead

scouser, you'll have forgotten before next summer. Seems like such a long time ago now...

A large % of "Flash" sites are very annoying.

Burton have lost the plot.
pie-eater replied to damian's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
Not liked Burton gear for a few years now. They just don't appeal to me. I pretty much hate Flash sites as well. -
Heard so many stories of them dying soon after a year. It's just not good enough and very annoying.
