I like that button guzzler. I am just about finished with my old notebook which in the last few months gave me no end of problems (and took about 10 minutes to fire up). I wouldn't mind a button that actually does destroy the thing. I'd video it and put it on youtube

Just got out Synchronicity (in preparation for the concert - I WILL get tickets). Another one revisited recently is Pornography by the Cure. -

I watched The Guns of Navarone over the new year. Good movie that. -
Seems to be a lot... but here's another! I am using 2 notebooks at the moment - one in the office and one at home. Thing is, I want to be able to read mails on the one at home and then download them again at work on my other notebook. Using Outlook 2003. Is there any setting change that I can do on my home one so that the mails don't actually get deleted from the server and will still be there on my work one? (Does that even make sense!) I tried looking round but got lost in it all (and my Japanese wasn't good enough) Thanks for any help folks

I really can't stomach sake. Most other alcohol is fine but sake... Maybe I am trying the wrong kind. What would you recommend?

Time to worry?
its-a-clock replied to sanjo's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
Well I was planning on being in Niigata from Sunday night for 4 nights but have decided to cancel the trip and wait until conditions improve. I thought it would surely have been ok then, but seems not. In some ways I want to go, but it's just too much money to be throwing at the conditions that are out there now. -
I was wondering that. There sure are a lot of kyu- towns around right now.

Speed 2. Just awful. So "I love.." doesn't come into it. I wonder if the idea sounded good.

I watched some TP again recently and it really seems dated now, as you might expect it to. Last movie I saw was Speed II. Now where's that worst movies thread....? -

its-a-clock replied to eskimobasecamp's topic in General off-topic discussions
Electricity ¥13,175 That is a lot. My place it is usually about 5000 yen. -
My dentist is ok here. I didn't go until recently but this guy is a friend of a friend and I was quite happy once I'd been once. I won't be so apprehensive next time. (Not keen on doctors though )
