Drove from Sanjo to muikaland today. Very interesting, stuck to the Route 17 There is lots of snow around Ojiya, Kawaguchi, Koide, Uonuma. Heavy snow as well. Hit Minamiuonuma area and the sun was out and nothing falling. Much less snow than the places to the north, very noticeable. I hear its blizzard time back home now, but it's clear and calm here!

Iwappara gondola not open for probably 5 years now. They also don't operate the top pair lift off to the right side either unfortunately. I used to like that run and this is a more recent closure, from last season?

Most major skijo have kids rooms, and lots have child care. I'd choose the area you want to go and choose from there.

Well, don't know about all this faffing about, but I just go about my life as normal. Seems to work!

There's a pathetic number of them in my place. Just silly. I suppose the amount of electric gadgets we generally use has grown a lot in recent years.

Staffing, planned opening dates... that kind of thing gets in the way of some lifts opening.

Issue I have with these things is - how exactly do you know they are good and worth the trouble? Or do you just feel "safer" with one on your computer?
