  1. I realized Mango getting cheaper here. ( Maybe all tropical fruit) That's good! Summer-Autumn is the fruit season in Japan. Suika, Momo, Nashi, Budo, Kaki... I enjoy tropical fruit better in other asian countries.
  2. Is divorcing easy? Uh... no sweet dream mogski?
  3. Cold for August ... No beach ... " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />
  4. I don't know which is better, but there is a shop "Bic camera" nearby Sapporo station.
  5. That's disgusting! Are you OK, sunrise? I know there are some strange people everywhere. When I lived with my parents, a guy tried to hit me on the way home several times. I got so angry and shocked and called the police, too. They are nice but they can't do anything, and tell me I have to be careful and protect myself. So when I was looking for an apartment in Tokyo, I had some conditions for my room. 1. No ground floor 2. main entrance has automatic lock or landlord lives in the apartment 3. No dismal street on the way home It's not easy to find a room with these
  6. I went to T.Y. horbor brewery the other night. This place is nice. I liked the beer they are making! Not easy access but it is worth stopping by.
  7. Hi Ocean, the typhoon struck you? Excinting, isn't it? I hope no harm this time.
  8. Yes, Wally. Don't miss the chance! Positive thinking daddy is cool! You can rent ski equipment at hotel or ski resort. Some place, you can enjoy cross-country ski, too. Take your time and enjoy feeling of snow!!
  9. I was thinking same when I heard hot summer in the UK this year. The summer in London was very bad when I was there. No AC in the train or restaurant. Almost all offices, shops, trains, cars, houses have AC in Tokyo. Some said that's why Tokyo is so hot. If you go to countryside, you can find some old style houses and they don't have AC. It's like my grandma's house. But old houses have a lot of wisdoms for hot summer, so quite comfortable without AC. The people in the UK should start learning iced tea or cold food! ILiveToSki, did you move to Takayama?
  10. Hi mumbojumbo, I describe HCMC like shabby houses, bompy road, dust from the construction (You can't tell they are building or breaking), chaos in the traffic (worse than Bangkok), flood if it's raining. So you have to be careful and tough. There is no modern buildings and offices, train system, beautiful palace or temples like Bangkok yet but atmosphere is similar. It's worth exploring city and finding very neat shops and cozy restaurants. People are not so friendly but simple. I'm willing to live there if I can get job.
  11. Nogawa! I know that place. When I visited there in spring, I felt nature. Well may you can find snakes there. There is nothing like Nogawa around Tokyo now. Anyway, 130cm length snake is pretty big! Are you playing at being Steve Irwin, db? Be careful.
  12. Sure, 100% Burnable! If you want to recycle them, you can make suika pickles!
  13. I went to Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang last September. Nice place. HCMC is like old time Bangkok. Everything is very cheap and food is very good. You can have very nice french food, too. Da Nang is my favorite beach. Not so many tourists yet and you can have day trip to Hoi An. My fiend told me Hue was nice, too. There are so many interesting places to visit.
  14. Ocean, you are so funny! The neat paranoiac annoys me. I understand that feeling but I don't like when somebody says "I can't touch this." Too much imagination...
  15. If you are left handed, you can't learn Japanese caligraphy. So you have to be right handed.
  16. The fireworks last night was the 1 by 1 and very simple. I liked it, it was just like for the local people. My friend is going to see the biggest size fireworks in Niigata in September. She said it has about 800m big fireworks! I'm going to see another fireworks this Sunday.
  17. I and my friends escaping from our office and going to the beach now. We'll enjoy beautiful fireworks tonight!! I think there is a hare-onnna in my group!
  18. This is Yujiro in 60's. He was most popular movie star. There is a Yujiro museum in Otaru and Yujiro light house in Hayama. Shinichiro used to write novels and Yuichiro star in the movies.
  19. He is a famous writer and popular among old generation, because he is Yujiro's brother. He is a very strong leader like Bush. His careless expression is too much for me sometimes. But his idea is unique, like regulation for diesel engine automobile, taxation on Banks. He is good at winning the hearts and minds of the people, so he always has confidence. One of his son is also politician.
  20. Sad... WWF helping them? There are so many animals losing their home... " title="" src="graemlins/cry.gif" />
