i had roommates for most of my time at college. my first year, i was randomly placed with three other girls in a 2 bedroom apt. besides no one doing dishes (so gross to see mold growing on the plates left for so long) one of the roommates turned out to be a kleptomaniac. besides stealing food, small amounts of money, and other little things, she stole and wore my other roomates' and my underwear--- ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. i chose the roommates i had after that and we never had any probs, just good fun.

i cant believe some of my 14 and 15 yr old students have shaved brows. it looks kinda funny. but, i have to say that if a guy is already hot and just has some shapely eyebrows (nothing too drawn and redirected, more like good matainence and not like joey on a recent friends) it doesnt hurt the whole package.

saw maybe one or two episodes of the second season. was too far into the day to understand anything. read an article that said it's getting out of control with ridiculous plot lines. but i must say the first season was fab.

Indosnm- i don't see your logic. I'm american and i'm not going to hide my nationality. I consider myself open-minded, fairly well educated on international matters, and i disagree with a lot of what the current administration is doing. of course there are a lot of "stupid americans" (yanks, seppos, or whatever you want to call us, i dont care) that perpetuate the stereotype. If i pretend to be canadian, how are people of other nations going to realize that not all americans are ignorant and (insert negative trait here)? although i probably live up to the stereotype in some ways, in others

i guess i don't see the big deal with people wearing flag pins on a suit. It's just a statement that you are proud of your country, patriotic, whatever. i think it's kinda like people wearing a red ribbon for aids or a pink one for breast cancer.

yeah, who on the forum is inked? i know enderzero just joined the club. I've got one on my back. it's a bonsai tree i got years before coming to japan. i still dig it, but it's kinda emabarassing when my students tell me only old men are interested in bonsai trees.

i've gotten these pics as a forward about 5 times now. never seen anyone here wearing them though.

man this thread got into my dreams. i woke at this morning at 6 (not what my alarm was set for) bc i may have heard weird chimes. i remember thinking my town was messing with me and changing the chime schedule. now i don't know if i was just dreaming i really need to cut back on the forum.

the pizza man at lawsons is way better than the one at 7-11.

You are supposed to get up then. In my town, everyone gets up at 7, eats at noon, and goes home at 5.
