  1. He was obviously just sticking to the bunny slopes / childrens area.
  2. I think generally Nagano and the whole region has far more appeal than Hokkaido.
  3. I have actually heard similar. One dip last season and they give up. Rubbish.
  4. I do have other things to do and enjoy rather than worry about weather forecasts that often change you know. Good policy I reckon.
  5. Anyone ever get to this place, in Katashina, Gunma? I see sadly they are reduced to just one lift this coming season. It looks like it used to be possibly worth a visit, but perhaps not now. What happened? Was it any good when it was fully open? Wiki shows some past story but not updated with the latest "down to 1 lift" bit.
  6. Funny how a cropped photo can make Yuzawa Park look like Happo-one, etc.
  7. Experience and heartbreak has told me to only bother with the forecasts a few days before.
  8. Always seemed like a gimmick. Is it improving? And is it just best back in the US?
  9. You are correct. It is looking back on the approach to Kandatsu. Big Iwappara pink condo buildings in the background they would have probably given it away to easy. It's your turn joshnii,
  10. Looking back last year Iwappara got open on 17th December http://www.snowjapan.com/e/daily/yuzawa-now-archive.php?month=12&year=2011
