Only watched the first remake with that dude who has tons of expressions. Wasn't impressed, CGI just numbs you up compared to actual moving stuff.

My boarding friends do seem to like it less than myself and skiing friends. There are a few places when a bit of speed is needed and in the wrong conditions a bit of cross country pushing. It's one of those mountains though that you need to learn and once you know it you can mostly avoid the pain.

Interesting snowdude, can't say I have ever thought of those places as a holiday destination.
