Sometimes you can see Les Miserabes in Tokyo Japanese version.

But I think that from my experience overseas, some shop assistant could learn from service in Japan. Sometimes I even think shop assistant is RUDE to customer, it is not good.

I must work today, I never like working on national holiday but it always seems more relaxed than normal day.

Nozawa is in north east area of the Nagano prefecture. There are less big resorts in south.

My house is very traditional Japanese style.

It looks like we have snow again today in many place.

I was working for closing down company a few years ago. It was sad, but people kept on working hard until last day. There was big party at end, like family. I'm sure that is not the most common in situation like this.

For many Japanese, new year is time for family gathering and one time when people can just relax away from their everyday life. I enjoy doing just that, it is fun to do that.

I don't give to my parents. I don't think it is too common. Usually we go away for some break in March and I usually pay for that as treat.

Like another people say, Myoko is good place, I like it. I have also been Joetsu Kokusai. When snow conditions is good I like it. But it doesn't get as much snow as nearby Yuzawa resorts. Very pretty.

I was in Iwate at weekend. We enjoyed time at Appi and then Shizukuishi. Snow was not as much as I hoped for but good time. I was surprised not busy slopes at all, we almost no waiting for lifts.

Well at least this year - ie 2003! Maybe, it seems so it might be true. I think the conditions will change soon though.
