I've been in Japan over 10 years now - married to a Japanese. Does anyone know when (and IF) I can ever get a forever visa? The last one I got, 4 years ago was a 5 year visa, so I have to renew soon. cheerys

Cheapest time to travel overseas

Late Feb.Early March should be quite cheap to go to Europe and such like. I went to London that time last year and the ticket was about 75000 yen. -

Its really going to depend on the year of course. I have been to Gunma in March and had a blast. Places like Tenjin and Marunuma are open until May (I think)

I went up there last season and had a blast. Pushing my limits for sure, but we got a guide (in Japanese) and it made a big difference.
