I actually bought a simple Japanese phrasebook the other day for our coming journey

We're being told here that the UK is going to melt away or freeze away or something more drastic if the whole of the infrastructure of the country does not change. As if. ( On both counts )

The UK has seen some very uncharacteristic weather over the last year or so (and more). What about Japan? Is it going a bit wonky over there too? And the big question is whether myself and BOC will have a blockbustering winter snow when we're there...

UK commuting has been hot and somewhat smelly in the evenings this last few weeks. Luckily it seems temps on their way down. Heathrow hit an all time high of 37.4 or something the other day.
