since about November Ive pretty much had 3 day weekends but now Im moving up to the phase where every day is a weekend for a while

Why do I seem to get this question so often? They were just some standard Fischer carvers. 165cms, about a 60 waist, drs control or something? I cant even remember now (they had flames down the middle I remember that bit!). Im saving all my money from selling off my posessions here and gonna get me some thing to blow me away when i get back to NZ. After 3 seasons my old ones are well and truly buggered but I had some money issues this year so by the time I had the cash there was nothing left to buy. Leaving Japan in 3 weeks, back to NZ in about 2 months. oh yeah At the moment I have no plans on returning but every time I think that I seem to be flying into Narita not too long after. This time I sincerly hope not.

I hate using the AC at my house. Id rather put on comfy clothes and use the fan, even in the dead of summer. I hate getting all nice and comfy in the cool room then opening the door to the kitchen or something and BAM its like walking into soup. Id rather just aclimatise. However at work is a different matter. You have to sit and work and wear clothes that cover most of your body. Def need the air con at work - esp today when the stingy sods havent turned it on.

If I have wishes Im thinking I want to be granted a power. powers are useful and they never run out. I want to be like storm and be able to control the weather. I borrowed a pair off a mate one day and convinced her to give them to me. They say BLOC on the side and as most sunglasses make me look like a fly as I have a slender face I am happy to have some that stay on and dont look bad either. They seem to be pretty hardy but Ive only had them for a year. I have a pair of Oakleys that look stylee but they are a bit fragile I think. Def the needs to be shown

It depends where youre living but if youre going to the mtn often then youre gonna need snow tires. If you live in a place where it snows lots (I think Takayama does) then youre gonna want them. Its just such a pain having to put chains on off on off on off on off. Well worth the money if the car doesnt have them anyway.

So a report from my town that cracked me up On the 11th June a bear was seen swimming across the Chikuma River. It climbed up the riverbank and went towards a residential area. A 65 year old man saw the bear and called emergency services who intercepted it by Apple Land supermarket. The bear was about 1m tall and estimated to be about 4 years old and just reciently separated from its parents. It injured a person before it was returned to the mtns. funny funny funny

So for a number of reasons Breckenridge in Colorado has caught my eye. I was wondering if any forum peeps had been there and what they had to say about it compared to Japan. Whats the powder like compared to Nagano? Whats the scene like compared to Nagano? Whats the facilities like compared to Nagano? Anything, in comparason to I guess Nagano cos thats where I know best but comparrisons to Hokkaido too would be good. Cheers folks. As always your opinions are valued

It will be bie enough to have parties - thats all you need to know. Hopefully the 4.5 mat rooms will be joined by a sliding door so you can take then out and put them somewhere - voila! Instant 9 mat room. I pay 5000 yen a month and my place is pretty reasonable size. Youll be living by yourself too so you dont need that much room really. Bring lots of deoderant and toothpaste.

I had to write some for music when i was at high school. Cant remember much about them now but they probably sucked. 9 years of piano lessons to play other peoples music though? Now that I think about it it was fun making stuff up. I heard there are 2 ways to write music. One is to write the words then set the music to it (a la Mr11) and the other is to write the music then make words to it. Hmmm wheres a piano...

I dont really believe in fate but I do believe in karma. Yeah I like the saftey aspect. I mean there are nutters anywhere but I do feel pretty safe walking around at night by myself and it is going to be hard to not be able to do that back home. Having said that there are cabs that dont cost too much back home so its not so bad really.

I think Nekobi means dudes with kind of stick up hair as opposed to the "host" in nice waves look. You know the spiky, funky looking guys. Me? I prefer short and stylee.

I worked for a season at Oze Iwakura and the start of my ski career cough cough. What can I say? Its skiers only, has some good steeps and def some bc around there to keep you busy but I dont know if Id go there now. This was back in 97-98 season so Im sure things are different now but the weekends were buuuusy and lots of Tokyo posers that dont really ski but just drink beer in the restaurant. Dunno, but I think Id only go back for sentimental reasons. Nice in Summer though Ive heard! Good hiking etc
