This reminded me of this thread: French President Jacques Chirac is reported to have cracked jokes about British food at a meeting with the German and Russian leaders. French newspaper Liberation says Gerhard Schroeder and Vladimir Putin laughed and joined in the banter. "One cannot trust people whose cuisine is so bad," it quotes Mr Chirac saying. A spokesman for Mr Chirac said the report did not reflect "the tone or the content" of the meeting, but stopped short of issuing a categorical denial.

It seems I'll just have to put more effort into keeping myself less smelly then. 3 showers a day.

When it gets to rainy season, I seem to quite easily get to be - for want of a better word - smell. Sweaty I suppose, but it's just not nice and only seems to happen round abouts now. Even if I have a shower, soon I feel pongy. Tell me it's not just me, please.

My experience with kyushoku here have been largely good. I know a few people who have been subjected to rice/seaweed/fish almost every day (they didn't like seaweed/fish - the main point being lack of variety.) Our place had a load of variety and quite often had some really cool stuff. They did an excellent curry and gyoza.

It's best not to worry, of course. But what do you worry about? I just read something about the top worries, predictable ones like money, sex, job, health.

I like it medium, but here that seems to translate as well-done. If I say rare, it comes to my plate bleeding.
