I was just about to write that! Interesting camera they have there - the lack of snow even up at GALAs level is a little troubling though. -

I am in Tokyo. I think you'll find the majority of people actually in Japan - they are after all the people who can enjoy the winter sports scene here...

Dynaland, Shirotori resorts, Washigatake one way (Gifu), Biwako valley (euch!)and a few other places round there a bit close by. As Davo said, basically the further away you go, the better! Best to make a long weekend out of it. -

Hi Jane It's not noticeably slower on this machine. Would be worth it anyway with all the new stuff going on. I just wish there were more maps here, then it would be reallly cool. helen -

Hi degsy I am living near Nagoya, but went up to the northern part of Nagano last week. It was beaufiful but I heard that the best time for the autumn leaves is in another weeks time when the colors are at their strongest. What a beautiful country!
