How about getting sold as "new" online that comes and obviously been opened/used? No good that. I was once offered 2000 yen off something that was 35000 yen full price, an item that was on display and it had loads of scratches on it. Could not believe they had the nerve to ask me for it, but they wouldn't budge. I felt like saying I'll give you 8000!

I think it's just really wrong that the Apple site still calls the over-one-year-old-iMac, the "New iMac". Which is how they have it now and presumably will until the day they switch over and refresh the line.

I don't get this - is it some kind of "decided by government" thing or something? Surely a company will decide themselves when they want to do it. They way they go on about it, it's as if it's law or something.

I can totally imagine what the dude is like. Good luck! Lots of people sure do seem to like to bring out the old evergreen muzukashii desu ne at the quickest available situation, which kind of does my head in in itself. Try some sarcastic remark in response and see where the conversation goes - often an even more surreal place when the sarcasm goes over their head and beyond.

This might be a stupid question. (Is it?) I find my house seems to get really dusty, really quickly. I think I'm generally pretty clean and don't have the window open much at all, but it just dusts up so quickly. Perhaps it's the place I live. ??
