  1. So, I put my snowboard to sleep for the summer and took out my skateboard (gravity longboard). Riding that is the closest feeling for me to riding my snowboard......after about 4 hours my front right wheel fell off, mid run. Sent me flying and I landed on my wrist. After lots of swearing and walking in circles it was off to the hospital to have it yanked back into place. I dislocated it/picked up a Burton fracture! (Very fitting name!) End of my skate season for a while!

  12. March 8th and march 9th. March 7th (fri) saw a massive storm with lots of high winds and lift closures at many resorts around Hokkaido. Rusutsu saw 30cms fall and Isola and East mountains closed. Sat morning and we drove to Rusutsu in white out conditions over Nakayama Toge and we wished we had chosen Kokusai because the skies were clear and sun shining when we had left Sapporo. Little did we know what was waiting for us at Rusutsu resort. It had put down another 60cm's over night and the gondola opening was delayed almost 40minutes due to too much snow. We were greeted with waist

  18. Hello, Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but thought a fresh thread might be a good starting point (didn't fancy scrolling through 64 pages of the football thread 2013 - 2014 to find my answers) Anyone know if and or what games will be televised here in Japan? After the lack of any coverage other than those events including a Japanese athlete/team at the last 2 Winter Olympics, London Olympics and the last World Cup (I have been living here a while), was just very desperate to see what channels and what games will be on't telly. Hopefully the stadiums will be finished on tim
