Hi there Onsen look like a potential highlight for me when I visit Japan. Just wondering do many people taken a soak after a day on the slopes, is that like a tradition for the Japanese as well? Bet it gets busy in the evening!

Yes thats what I'm thinking too. Quite a few places close to each other which makes it an attractive choice.
