  1. I think Zao should so something similar. Although I am sure the skills needed to make those things are built up over many years.
  2. Excellent, muikabochi. What a wonderful advertisement for Hakuba (>> I realise it isn't meant as such, you know what I mean!)
  3. I don't know the economics of it, but they seem to really be hoping that it will be a major Tokyo tourist attraction. Tell you what, it's one place I certainly would not like to be in the case of a big earthquake!!
  4. Perhaps I am being over-cautious but I would definitely not go up there in early April.
  5. I believe just holidays are paid, actually I never go up there weekends! But Kurohime is a good place to start the day. Unfortunately due to it's location, Zao doesn't have a huge amount of parking space like some resorts.
  6. I think there are quite a few tiny place like this dotted around Japan. Gradually becoming fewer, but still a lot of them just about keeping going.
  7. Yes those quads are really good. My choice for getting up the mountain.
  8. Not everyone needs 'off piste action', you know! Unfortunately concerning the resort in question I have not been and so I cannot help on that.
  9. I think this person really misjudged quite a few things here. I don't understand why some people think and act like this. I can only congratulate the site on doing so many good things for Japan winter sports. I know for a fact that the managers at Zao here know about the site and are very happy that it exists. Keep up the fine work.
  10. Good to hear Metabo. Yes Zao opened up again around mid-April last year after a month+ closed. If you look in the archives of Zao Now page on here you will see how it happened.
  11. Interesting. I don't know too much about Hokkaido especially smaller places of which there seem to be many!
  12. I want good, efficient, wireless re-charging. No cables.
