You can tell when it's a bit of a mad weather morning... everyone's favourite green vegetable, Naski, is sitting it out and not making an appearance on the Hikage base area.

It feels like we have been told to expect snow the last few days and it just hasn't turned out how the forecasts said.

A kind of curious 24 hours.

Good morning from Nozawa. The snow is back.

A curious one today. There's a little snowfall down at base and up to 20cm on upper areas of the mountain, according to the ski area.

Just a little snowfall overnight with the ski area itself reporting up to 12cm on upper runs.

Some snow since yesterday, not a huge amount.

I am on my way out of the village this morning so a bit of a quick, early report. A bit of a dusting of snow overnight and a mostly just cloudy morning.

Things calmed down yesterday and we even had some bright weather once the snow stopped.

The huge snow has continued with the ski area reporting another 90cm on upper areas. When it snows like this it's truly awe-inspiring.

I'll post more tomorrow when hopefully things will be calmer but for now... just crazy snowfall the last day.

We have had more snow. There's 30cm on upper areas, according to the ski area and more like around half of that down in base areas.
