Good morning from Nozawa.
The snow is back... and hopefully over the next week we'll see quite a lot of it. Looks like we might! Just 5cm being reported by the ski area about an hour ago on top, and I'd guess there's a bit more than that by now.
Here's what the forecasts say: snow today and tonight, perhaps easing off during the day tomorrow and Saturday and then at least a few days of solid snowfall from Sunday. Lots of snow please!
Fresh snowfall recorded by the ski area (since early yesterday morning through 7:20am):
- Yamabiko (1615m): 5cm
- Uenotaira (1407m): 8cm
- Hikage (660m): 2cm
- Nagasaka (616m): 2cm
- Karasawa (563m): 2cm
