This is more like it! We got lots of snow since my last report.

It's a clearer morning and there's even a bit of sun! Can't say I was expecting that as we were supposed to be in the middle of a snow storm.

I'll quickly gloss over the rain from yesterday as we have fresh snow this morning and a lot more due over the next two days. (Phew).

Some snow overnight and during the day yesterday, though not a large number from lower areas but note that the top area reporting 30+cm since yesterday morning.

I had to do some walking last night... it sure was cold out there! Icy too.

10-15cm of new snow was being reported by the ski area yesterday afternoon and just a few more cm on upper areas this morning.

A bunch of different snowfall numbers from the ski area this morning, ranging from just 5cm (?!) at Karasawa to 45cm up top.

It's an early one today. A thin layer of snow on the ground this morning.

Yesterday was a really good day with that fine start. Clouds did start to move in later on and this morning there's a layer of snow, the ski area itself reporting 10-20cm.

An early report today. As of 7am there is cloud around the region but clearer skies above the mountain.

Tons of fresh snowfall! This morning the ski area is reporting 50cm on Yamabiko, 32cm on Uenotaira, 40cm on Hikage and 20cm at Karasawa.
