Independent snow and weather reporting from the Nozawa Onsen region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 2cm
Snowfall at base this season 912cm

Posted on Tuesday 8th February 2022 This is an archived report. The latest Nozawa Now report can be found here.

Things calmed down yesterday and we even had some bright weather once the snow stopped. Another 10cm or so on upper levels since the early morning yesterday, most of that yesterday morning. We only really got a dusting down at base areas.

This morning there's a lot of cloud about and we're probably going to have a cloudy day. Might even get some light snow tonight. Tomorrow looks more of a safer bet for sun.

Rested lifts today: Skyline connecting, Challenge pair, Utopia pair, Karasawa pair
