There's 11cm at our measuring point in Yuzawa. It is still snowing and limited poor visibility in higher areas.

I was woken up by the sound of rain early this morning, but thankfully it has now turned into snow.

After the rain turning into snow last night, we have some fresh snow cm this morning!

I, for one, am rather pleased that yesterday is over and we can try to start again in this new month.

We did end up with some nice weather yesterday morning with some blue sky and sun for a while before clouding over by afternoon.

After that completely clear start to the morning yesterday, today we start with more cloud around.

Yesterday I didn't venture outside much until the evening and don't know what we going on weather-wise.

A grey, cloudy/overcast morning with spots of rain and damp roads. We might have to put up with some rain on and off through the day.

A rare first-hand report from the slopes! Yes, I have just come back from a few hours at GALA Yuzawa.

After the warmth of yesterday - nearly 14C in town (!) - today should be considerably cooler. (It is about 6C as this report is being written, but temps are expected to gradually get lower during the day).

We start today with clear blue skies again.

Good morning from Yuzawa and, as expected, we have beautiful clear blue skies and sunshine from early on.

Yesterday it did continue snowing for a large part of the day, perhaps more than expected, though for most of the time it was the kind of light that didn't really result in cm sticking.

After some beautiful clear and sunny skies during the day, we got some 'wet' in the evening, but...
