About 25cm of fresh snow since yesterday with most of that coming overnight. Nice!

Just several cm since yesterday morning after some light snow during the day yesterday and a further dusting overnight.

Morning from Yuzawa on this first day of February. Time is whizzing by.

It is still snowing! A bit windy too with the snow being blown around when I was out just earlier. Webcams show a rather mid-winter picture, too.

We sure seem to have a lot of snow now!

Very early clouds quickly parted yesterday morning and we enjoyed some sun and blue skies, particularly up until mid-morning.

The snow did stop yesterday... lingering for a while but not giving us much more than a further dusting.

Snow clouds stuck around all yesterday and are still over us this morning. I am very pleased to report another (total) 46cm of snowfall since yesterday morning.

Well, after the somewhat disappointed tone of yesterday, it's all change again this morning. This is more like it!

It's difficult to make wider-picture comments at the moment, as forecasts and the reality are often differing.

Curious weather the last day or so.
