Hello from Yuzawa on this last day of the season at Kagura ski area.

Good morning from Yuzawa and it is a fine and sunny start to the day.

Quick report today: Kagura ski area will be closed today due to strong forecast winds.

It's another fine and bright morning with some cloud.

Yesterday was the last day for the Tashiro Area of Kagura. By the looks of the webcam images, visibility was very limited for the day.

It's wet this morning and we expect rain during the day. Visibility looks limited up at Kagura.

It's a light grey and overcast kind of morning early on. Rain is expected from tonight and much of tomorrow.

It's very windy, very mild, rainy in places - and Kagura will be closed for the day. That means there's no ski lifts moving today.

Today is Showa Day and a national holiday in Japan.

Some limited to poor visibility at times yesterday at Kagura, but thankfully it is much clearer this morning with blue skies.

It's a sunny start to the weekend and after a few days of somewhat colder weather, it should be warming up to over 20C today and tomorrow.

It will be less windy today, and Kagura is scheduled to be open again.

Largely clear blue sky and sunshine this morning, with just a little cloud in places. It got as warm as 24C in town yesterday.
