Update
Kagura announcement: the ski area will also be closed tomorrow (Saturday 2nd May) with strong winds forecast to continue.
Original morning report
Good morning.
It's very windy, very mild, rainy in places - and Kagura will be closed for the day. That means there's no ski lifts moving today.
And we expect do rain during the day. Currently dry in places, but wet in others (particularly to the south).
Forecasts seem to be saying that tomorrow will be clearer and sunny ---- but it will also still probably be very windy, perhaps enough to keep Kagura closed. We'll have to see.
The weather expected today and tomorrow is the kind that is particularly unfriendly to the snow that remains. And, of course, there's not much left. (The Tashiro section of Kagura might well struggle to re-open beyond this weather, but that's purely a guess and not based on any official information).
