Just up to a few cm of new snowfall to report from around Shiga Kogen this morning. Nice and cold too.

Clear blue skies over Shiga Kogen this morning. Sun screen needed. It was a fairly cold start but has warmed up to close to 0C now.

There are clear blue skies over Shiga Kogen this calm and quiet morning. It was a cold start too, though we are set to warm up quickly during the day today.

Early on this morning we were still in snowy mode, and there's 10-20cm or so fresh to report (wind has blown it around).

Some good snow falling this morning in Shiga Kogen. Perhaps 10cm or so to report but definitely more on the cards with the way it is coming down now.

After that warm day yesterday, it's all somewhat colder this Friday morning. And I'm happy to report that snow started falling this morning and it is coming down now.

The snow continued yesterday and we pretty much avoided rain up here and even got a few more cm out of it in places.

It's one of those days when it's clear how things are going to be right from the get go and some early morning light blue skies all around.

The clouds moved back in yesterday and started to bring us some more snow. Probably 5-10cm or so in places and it is snowing still this morning in Shiga Kogen.

We probably clocked up another 10-15cm of snow yesterday, but the clouds have moved on by this morning and we are left with lots of blue sky above Shiga Kogen and the sun is out doing it's thing.

More snow this morning. It's really coming down here in Maruike as I write this. Heavy snow, moderately strong winds and visibility very poor.

Change again this morning as Shiga Kogen is covered with cloud and we have perhaps around 5cm of new snowfall in places.
