We did see the snow ease off yesterday. This morning is bright, lots of cloud around, but also more and more blue sky appearing as time marches on.

It is a very good morning from Shiga Kogen. Snow, and a good amount of it. Difficult to put a number, but I would say 20cm or so.

We got another 5cm or so out of yesterday, but this morning while it is actually colder than yesterday, the sun is shining down over the Maruike area where I am writing this report from.

Ah nice and cold again this morning. We can save mild and warm until May, for now we want cold!

A mild start to the day here in Shiga Kogen. The snow did clear up yesterday and all told we just have a thin layer of snow since the report posted yesterday

It's another cold start to the day, and snow is still falling. But it's not the crazy windy white-out that we had yesterday.

Strong winds and snow this morning making it a really mid-winter morning here.

Around 5cm of snow to report and light snow falling still at 10am. Doesn't feel as cold this morning and in Maruike it's -7C.

It's a silvery overcast kind of start to the day in Shiga Kogen. Bright and the sun trying to break through and if I had to guess I reckon it will clear up.

And yes we did get snow later on overnight and this morning about 10cm or so fresh on the ground.

About 10-15cm of snow on the slopes by early this morning and while the forecast for the day was cloud and snow at times, it has cleared up to be a fine day.

Cold morning here in Shiga Kogen, back to what we are used to mid winter. Lots of snow falling as well. And windy too.

Well we were hoping for a nice new layer yesterday and indeed we did get some more snow but it's pretty minimal.

Well, after a colder start to the day yesterday, it's a milder picture this morning and around -3 degrees here in the Maruike area as of 9am.
