Cold morning here in Shiga Kogen, back to what we are used to mid winter. Lots of snow falling as well. And windy too. It's a real cold, blustery mid-winter kind of morning out there. And more of it I say. It is good for us to get a considerable amount of snow today, so bring it on. Visibility is poor this morning and so care needed all round. Make sure you know where you're going. Some lifts may be affected by the conditions.
Kumanoyu have a temperature of 13C this morning but I think that might well actually be -13. ;)
Tomorrow should be clearer and so with the new snow from today should be good. Tomorrow is also the first day of a three day long weekend in Japan and one of the more popular weekends of the season - so it will get busy!
Nighta operations planned for tonight at the following resort areas:
Ichinose Family
Ichinose Diamond
