It's a silvery overcast kind of start to the day in Shiga Kogen. Bright and the sun trying to break through and if I had to guess I reckon it will clear up. More snow is due later on today though - perhaps after the lifts close - and so I should be able to report some more snowfall in my next report.
Very cold this morning down to -13C here in the Maruike area.
Holiday weekend crowds have gone and we're back to normal weekday. Which means quiet slopes!
